During my internship, I created this furniture for Lukas Wegwerth. The table features four platforms made from apple wood, showcasing a beautiful red color and intricate vein patterns.
The frame is constructed from hazelnut branches, joined together with dowels. The platforms were crafted to fit this frame and were shaped with an angle grinder to create organic forms.
This project is designed for the Museum Flaeming, near Berlin. We experimented with rust water, which gave the wood a unique, cool green hue that complements the cave-like museum space perfectly.
