Krat Stoel

I made this chair from materials I found on the streets of Berlin. I noticed a lot of discarded wood and began collecting the nicer pieces. The chair’s design is by the Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld, whose work I admire for its simplicity. I also liked a tag that someone had put on one of the pieces of wood, so I decided to make it even more visible. There can be found a lot of good materials in the streets which we consider to be waste.
